Lagos è un centro creativo. Ospita Nollywood, la Hollywood nigeriana che ha costruito un’intera filiera economica di produzioni a basso costo distribuite anche nei più remoti villaggi pedalando in bicicletta. A raccontarne la complessità è stato, tra gli altri, Franco Sacchi.
Inoltre Lagos accooglie non poche startup e una community attiva di sviluppatori software. A indagare sul campo è un reporter, Monty Munford, in un articolo pubblicato da Mashable.
